It was a good phone for the first 2 months, ze551ml almost useless now 8 months after purchase.Asus could have done a great job with those hardware specs Intel chipset, 4GB ram, dual sim, etc but yet couldn't get it well zenfone. Asus firmware cannot be updated by any means BEWARE, you'll get stuck with a malfunction firmware yes I tried manually since there is no update option on my phone, and no asus didn't worked.

Touchscreen isn't working anymore, it tends to get crazy every ten minutes, like ghost swiping on the screen you need to lock and unlock the phone and get lucky to get the touchscreen working againthe charging port is as crazy and ridiculous as the touchscreen, it stops charging every now and then, and you have to unplug and plug again the charging cable to get it working again at this point you'll never know when it'll stop charging, so you can't leave it lte. Phone gets heavily hot and one of the most surprising things, it takes around 3 to 4 minutes to boot yes, a 4gb ram phone with 32gb Intel chipset.

It has a worldwide known issue with battery charging.It is a motherboard or the like issue, not a battery one.Not only in this asus but in many other models from Asus.I could repair it by myself.

I had to change the charging board.That is why it did not charge the battery.A malfunction USD 5.32gb have only had this phone for a few months and shortly after I got it, the camera started glitching ze551ml on me.

I would have to restart the phone to get the camera to unfreeze.Now the phone constantly gives me error messages saying that no sim asus is detected.I tried taking the sim card out and re-inserting it, but that didn't help.

There are two sim slots, so I tried using the sim2 slot, and that worked for about a day.Now it basically only works when on WIFI.Though it cannot handle very top notch apps I bought this for my sister and she has been using it for a while.

Though it cannot handle very top notch apps but that zenfone expected for a phone zenfone this price range.It heats up a little sometimes but that has not 32gb a big issue this far.
